Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Complies with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as company policies and procedures.
Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor.
Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports preventative maintenance needs to the management team.
Reports any defects, accidents, or violations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Regularly operates a commercial vehicle within approximately 150 miles of home.
Frequently lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor throughout the shift.
Regular entering, exiting, and maneuvering of the truck for loading and unloading.
Work is performed on the road in varying weather conditions.
Schedule is home daily, Monday through Friday, with shifts typically running 10-12 hours; additional hours may be needed based on business needs.
