CDD Advisory Analyst

Role overview

What you will own

• Research emerging risks, regulations and industry best practices to provide clear CDD advisory guidance.
• Assess regulatory and policy changes and translate them into operational and client-level impacts.
• Monitor financial crime controls, identify gaps and support audit remediation and risk mitigation.
• Support AI-driven monitoring, screening and risk-scoring solutions while managing bias and explainability risks.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement and communicate risks, impacts and strategies to senior stakeholders.
• Share financial crime expertise and promote continuous improvement.

Required experience

• At least five years of regulatory compliance and operational experience focused on financial crime prevention.
• Experience providing first-line financial crime advisory guidance and interpreting policies.
• Experience conducting impact assessments and translating regulatory changes into operational and client outcomes.
• Understanding of technology and AI applications in financial crime and their governance risks.
• Experience managing financial crime procedures and updates.
• Experience preparing compliance advice for prospective clients and managing multiple compliance projects.

Bonus qualifications and experience

• Experience in payments, fintech or digital banking is a bonus.
• Familiarity with the FCA or DNB is a bonus.
• Experience with Orbis, Fenergo, Actimize or Salesforce is a bonus.
• Exposure to AI or machine-learning-enabled compliance tools is a bonus.
• A Diploma in AML or Financial Crime or CAMs certification is a bonus.
