Key Responsibilities
- **Client Management & Sales:** Meet with clients to determine needs, negotiate contracts, and create menus.
- **Operational Management:** Oversee event planning, setup, on-site service, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
- **Team Leadership:** Hire, train, schedule, and supervise catering staff.
- **Logistics & Inventory:** Manage inventory, place orders for supplies, and coordinate logistics like transportation and equipment.
- **Quality & Safety:** Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
- **Financial Control:** Manage food/labor costs, budgets, and profit-and-loss reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- **Experience:** Proven experience as a catering manager or in a similar hospitality role.
- **Skills:** Exceptional organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
- **Ability:** Ability to work under pressure, manage budgets, and lead teams.
- **Education:** Hospitality management or culinary school degree is often preferred.

- **Certification:** Food safety and sanitation certification.
- **Flexibility:** Ability to work weekends and holidays.
