Overview

Our restaurant company seeks a Catering & Events Sales Manager to enhance our team.

This role is pivotal in driving sales for our catering and events division, attracting clients, and coordinating all aspects of events from inquiry to execution.

Responsibilities

  • include:
  • Welcoming client requests for catering and event services.
  • Communicating with clients and presenting suitable proposals based on event type and budget.
  • Preparing pricing offers and following up with clients until booking is finalized.
  • Seeking new opportunities with companies, government entities, private events, and banquet halls.
  • Coordinating all event details with the kitchen, operations, communication, and hospitality.
  • Overseeing the execution of events and ensuring service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Developing buffet and menu options in coordination with management and the kitchen.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and building a loyal customer base.
  • Monitoring competitors and suggesting innovative ideas for proposals and services.
  • Preparing regular reports on sales, bookings, and clients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in catering, events, food service, restaurants, hotels, or hospitality.
  • Experience in sales and direct client interaction.
  • Ability to price proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Strong organizational and inter-departmental coordination skills.
  • Polished personality, leadership qualities, and good appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Existing relationships or a client base in corporate and event sectors is a plus.
  • Experience with external catering and events.
