  • We are seeking a commercially driven and analytical Category Manager to join our team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • You will work closely with suppliers, sales, marketing, procurement, and operations teams to optimize product assortments, pricing, promotions, and overall category performance.

  • Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Manage product assortments, pricing strategies, promotions, and category performance.
  • Analyze sales trends, market data, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms and improve category profitability.
  • Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and demand forecasts to optimize category performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and category growth initiatives.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare category performance reports for management.
  • Identify opportunities for new product introductions, range optimization, and portfolio expansion.
  • Ensure category plans align with customer needs, business goals, and market trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize revenue, margin, and operational efficiency.
  • āœ… Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in category management, product management, procurement, merchandising, or retail operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability drivers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP, retail, procurement, or category management systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, or related industries is advantageous.
