Cashier

Previous experience in legal cashiering, banking operations or a high-volume transactional finance environment.

Strong attention to detail, with a consistent focus on accuracy and financial controls.

Ability to investigate and resolve transactional, banking and allocation queries.

Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and month-end deadlines.

Confident communication skills and a professional, service-focused approach.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft 365 applications.

Knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules and the handling of client and office account transactions.

Experience within a legal or professional services environment.

Experience using 3E, HighRadius Cashiering or similar finance and cash-allocation systems.

Experience of suspense account management, bank exceptions and reconciliations.

Knowledge of BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments and Telegraphic Transfers.

Experience working within a shared services or high-volume finance operations environment.
