The Cashier is responsible for handling all sales transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering excellent customer service.
The role ensures smooth billing operations, proper cash handling, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately using POS systems
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods securely
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as per company policy
- Maintain accuracy in cash drawer and perform daily cash reconciliation
- Ensure proper opening and closing of the cash counter
- Assist customers with product inquiries and basic sales support
- Promote ongoing offers, promotions, and loyalty programs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing counter area
- Coordinate with store team for stock availability and pricing updates
- Report discrepancies or issues to the Store Supervisor immediately
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a cashier in retail (preferably perfume/cosmetics industry)
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Good numerical and cash handling skills
- Strong communication skills (English required; Arabic is an advantage)
- Presentable, customer-focused, and professional attitude

- Must comply with company SOPs and cash handling policies
- Any cash shortage/excess must be reported and documented immediately
- Subject to periodic audits and performance reviews
Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
- Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
