Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education from an accredited institution
- 1-3 years’ work experience dealing with people with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, addictions services, and/or fetal alcohol spectrum
- 1-3 years’ experience working with people who have the potential to become verbally or physically aggressive, using de-escalation strategies to mitigate risk.
- Intermediate or Standard First Aid & CPR with AED - Level C
- Valid Full G Class Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance.
- Case management experience is an asset
- Candidates who are proficient in both official languages of Canada will be considered an asset.
