Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Manager to oversee all carpentry-related activities on construction projects in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise all carpentry works including formwork, framing, and finishing
- Interpret construction drawings and coordinate with engineers and site teams
- Manage and lead a team of carpenters, foremen, and laborers
- Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain workplace safety and ensure compliance with HSE regulations
- Control material usage, reduce wastage, and manage inventory
- Coordinate with procurement for required carpentry materials and tools
- Conduct inspections and resolve on-site issues efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in carpentry works within the construction industry
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of formwork, structural, and finishing carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
