Short Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry repairs and maintenance on yacht interiors and exterior wooden structures.
• Install, repair, and refinish marine-grade woodwork, cabinetry, furniture, decking, and fittings.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.
• Inspect and identify damaged wooden components and recommend repair solutions.
• Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with yacht refit and refurbishment projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and marine industry standards.
• Work closely with supervisors and other maintenance team members to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Carpenter, preferably in yacht maintenance, boat building, or the marine industry.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work from specifications.
• Good knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor marine environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
