Key Responsibilities
- Dismantle and reassemble furniture such as beds, wardrobes, cabinets, desks, and partitions.
- Perform minor repairs to wooden furniture damaged during moving.
- Pack and secure furniture for safe transportation.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload furniture while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with movers, drivers, and supervisors to complete relocation jobs on time.
- Ensure customer property is handled carefully and professionally.
- Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a moving or furniture company.
- Knowledge of furniture assembly and disassembly techniques.
- Ability to use carpentry hand tools and power tools.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.
- Basic communication skills in English or Hindi.
- Team-oriented with a focus on customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Carpentry or related trade.
- UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
- Experience in furniture installation, joinery, or fit-out works.
