Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai for a Cargo Vessel Crew Member.
The role involves assisting with the safe operation of the vessel, performing routine ship maintenance, and ensuring compliance with maritime safety standards.
Responsibilities
include loading and unloading cargo, maintaining cleanliness and functionality of the ship, and collaborating with the team to ensure efficiency in ship operations.
The ideal candidate will follow safety protocols and actively support other team functions on board as required.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of vessel operations and experience with cargo handling procedures.
- Proficiency in maritime safety practices, compliance standards, and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and general ship upkeep.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with onboard crew members.
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks and operate in challenging maritime environments.
- Relevant certifications such as Basic Training (STCW) and proficiency in survival craft or firefighting (preferred but not mandatory).
- Prior experience in cargo ship operations or maritime-related roles is an asset.
- Willingness to adapt and work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
