Job Description
- Oversee the acceptance and delivery of cargo and maintaining high standard of customer service
- Oversee the work of porters and equipment operators in the buildup and breakdown of cargo, courier and inspect and verify cargo at each stage
- Carry out an inventory of goods at the request of customers and record of any deviations
- record the details of cargo accepted and delivered for tracking purposes, using manual and automated system
- Inspect and validate all associated cargo documentation to ensure safe and efficient acceptance and delivery of cargo
- Assistant and support all official to ensure the safe and efficient movement of cargo
- ensure that dangerous good are handled in compliance with IATA dangerous goods and regulation
- Carry and use PDA to perform job functions as required
- Ensure that the handling of time and temperature sensitive shipments compliance with EU GDP requirements
Requirements
- Plus two certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in cargo, logistics, warehouse, or airline operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cargo handling procedures and documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit to handle cargo operations activities.
- Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.
