About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a ***Cards Technical Specialist / Cards Technical Resource*** to support our card issuing technology setup, processing integration, testing, and ongoing technical operations.
The selected candidate will work closely with internal technology, products, operations, compliance, vendors, processors, and card scheme teams to ensure smooth implementation and stable card issuing operations.
Key responsibilities
· Support card issuing technical implementation and processor integration.
· Work on card issuing APIs, authorization flows, transaction routing, card lifecycle events, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
· Coordinate with card processors, scheme partners, vendors, and internal technology teams.
· Support debit/prepaid card issuing, merchant wallet cards, expense cards, and related card products.
· Assist in system testing, UAT, production release, issue investigation, and post-launch support.
· Review logs, API responses, error messages, transaction statuses, and integration issues.
· Support technical documentation, integration guides, process flows, and operational procedures.
· Assist in monitoring card transaction flows, failed transactions, reversals, refunds, disputes, and reconciliation exceptions.
· Ensure technical setup supports security, compliance, AML/CFT, fraud monitoring, and scheme requirements.
Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in card issuing technology, payment processing, fintech, banking technology, PSP, or processor integration projects.
· Good understanding of Visa/Mastercard issuing, card authorization, ISO 8583/API integrations, tokenization, settlement, reconciliation, and card lifecycle management.
· Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, Postman, Git, logs, system monitoring, and basic scripting.
· Ability to work with technical teams, vendors, processors, schemes, and business stakeholders.
· Candidate must be available in Qatar with NOC to change sponsorship
