About the role

Lead growth and optimization of clients' credit, debit, and prepaid card portfolios.

The role combines card portfolio analytics, lifecycle management, data-driven decisions, growth initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Portfolio strategy and analytics

  • Analyze portfolio performance by segment, product, and lifecycle stage, including cohort and month-on-book analysis.
  • Identify dormant, under-utilized, and high-potential customer groups; prioritize opportunities by value, effort, and time to impact.
  • Build a portfolio growth roadmap supported by business cases.

Growth and execution

  • Design and deliver activation, usage, retention, reactivation, and spend-stimulation programs.
  • Run campaigns, A/B tests, and offer-design initiatives with marketing, digital, and operations teams.
  • Optimize card propositions, pricing, and customer experience for target segments.
  • Partner with risk, authorization, and operations teams to improve approval outcomes and reduce transaction friction.

Performance and stakeholders

  • Track metrics through dashboards and monthly performance reviews; measure campaign conversion, return on investment, and results against control groups.
  • Present insights, recommendations, and results to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop playbooks and support knowledge transfer.

Required qualifications

  • Have 8+ years managing credit and/or debit card portfolios at a card issuer, card scheme, or advisory firm.
  • Have hands-on card portfolio analytics experience and a record of measurable growth initiatives.
  • Have expertise across card lifecycle management for credit, debit, and prepaid cards.
  • Be capable in segmentation, cohort analysis, test-and-learn methods, and data-driven portfolio management.
  • Be proficient in Excel, SQL, and Power BI or Tableau; be familiar with CRM and campaign-management platforms.
  • Know card scheme products and services, loyalty and rewards, digital wallets, and tokenization.
  • Be able to manage senior banking stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Be fluent in professional English and able to work on-site in Doha for the full contract term.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with GCC banks and familiarity with local regulations are preferred.
  • Commercial cards experience is advantageous.
