Cards Business Analyst - 12 months contract

About This Role

We are looking for a Commercial Cards Business Analyst to join our partner in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-driven, digital-first environment and has strong experience in cards, analytics, and stakeholder engagement.

The successful will play a key role in driving data-led decision making by transforming complex commercial card data into actionable business insights. You’ll work closely with business and technology teams to define use cases, deliver insights, and support strategic initiatives across products and customer performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
• Develop and define analytics use cases aligned to business strategy.
• Perform data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
• Build reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, tech, operations).
• Present insights clearly to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and quality standards.
• Manage analytics projects and deliver within timelines.
• Identify opportunities for process and performance optimization.
• Support product and customer strategy through insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Business Analysis / Data Analytics, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong exposure to cards (commercial / payments preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis techniques.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, digital environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
