About This Role

Job Title: Card Payments QA Tester (ATM/POS/E-commerce)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Card Payments QA Tester with strong experience in testing Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card transactions across ATM, POS, and E-commerce channels. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in card lifecycle, transaction validation, and banking/payment systems, along with a solid understanding of ISO 8583 messaging and scheme compliance .

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and validate Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card transactions
  • Perform transaction validation across:
  • ATM (Cash withdrawal, balance inquiry)
  • POS (Purchase, refund, reversal)
  • E-commerce (3D Secure authentication)
  • Work on Card Management Systems (CMS)
  • Execute various testing types including:
  • Functional Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Visa and Mastercard regulations
  • PCI-DSS standards
  • Analyze and validate ISO 8583 message formats
  • Coordinate with external vendors such as:
  • Payment gateways
  • Switch providers
  • Card personalization vendors
  • Log and track defects using tools like JIRA / HP ALM
  • Support production issue analysis and resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Card Lifecycle , including:
  • Card issuance
  • Activation
  • PIN generation
  • Authorization
  • Clearing & Settlement
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 8583 messaging
  • Knowledge of Visa & Mastercard transaction flows
  • Experience with ATM/POS simulators
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation
  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman
