Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program. Experience: 0–2 years of experience in echocardiography (new graduates with clinical training may be considered). Experience in a hospital or outpatient cardiology setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and comfort with digital imaging systems. Attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and protocols
  • Must be able to lift and position patients and equipment as needed. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or holidays, if required. Must maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and continuing education requirements. Diligence, consistent, positive attitude, demonstrates HRO culture by identifying patient safety issues and willingness to engage in professional growth opportunities
