Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with cardiovascular symptoms and diseases
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including ECG, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterization
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans encompassing medical, interventional, and lifestyle therapies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including surgeons, nurses, and allied health staff
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding cardiovascular health and disease prevention
- Maintain detailed, accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare standards
- Engage in ongoing medical education and research activities as appropriate
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Cardiology
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Cardiology
- Valid medical license to practice
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in cardiology
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
