The Car Driver will support logistics and transportation operations by moving goods, staff, and documents between stores, warehouses, and external locations.
The role is based in Sharjah and involves in-person driving and transportation duties.
Driving and Transport Duties
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport goods between stores, branches, warehouses, and external locations.
- Deliver or collect staff, documents, and materials as assigned.
- Follow logistics schedules and required delivery timeframes.
Vehicle and Delivery Records
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle regularly and keep it clean and operational.
- Maintain logs of driving hours, mileage, and destinations.
- Report accidents, vehicle issues, and delays to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Two to three years of professional driving experience; retail or logistics experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus.
