**Job Summary:** As a Captain Waiter at Bebek, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service.
You will oversee the dining area, manage waitstaff, and interact with customers to ensure their needs are met.
We prefer candidates with a strong understanding of Turkish culture and cuisine, as well as experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Lead and supervise the waitstaff, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to service standards.
- Take and process orders efficiently, providing recommendations on menu items and beverage pairings.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate order fulfillment.
- Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Preferably Turkish nationality, with a strong understanding of Turkish culture and cuisine.
- Proven experience as a Captain Waiter or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
