Role Description
This part-time Capital Projects Manager role at بوابة التوظيف السعودي is a hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for partial work from home.
The Capital Projects Manager will oversee the planning, initiation, and execution of capital projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, preparing and tracking project plans, and monitoring progress against milestones.
The role will also involve managing procurement processes for project-related goods and services, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The Capital Projects Manager will track budgets, control costs, identify risks, and prepare regular status reports and presentations for leadership to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing Capital Projects and overseeing their full lifecycle from concept to handover.
- Strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in Project Control, including progress tracking, risk management, and reporting on key performance indicators.
- Solid understanding of Budgeting and cost control methods, with the ability to analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Knowledge of Procurement processes, vendor selection, contract review, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing multiple priorities with professionalism and integrity.
