To ensure quality and control, HBC operates multiple in-country facilities, including a fully equipped marble and granite factory, a carpentry workshop for high-end woodwork, and specialized facilities for customized gypsum and GRC moldings.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Carpentry Manager role based in Qatar.
The Carpentry Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the carpentry workshop, including planning, scheduling, and supervising the production of high-end wooden decorations, cabinets, kitchens, doors, and related items.
The role includes coordinating with project managers, engineers, and interior designers to translate technical drawings and specifications into accurate, high-quality carpentry works.
The Carpentry Manager will manage carpentry staff, monitor performance, enforce safety standards, and ensure optimal use of materials, tools, and machinery.
Responsibilities
also include quality control, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining equipment, and supporting continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Strong carpentry and joinery expertise, including experience with high-end woodwork, cabinetry, doors, and decorative elements.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications, with solid understanding of construction and interior fit-out standards.
- Demonstrated experience in workshop management, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and supervision of carpentry teams.
- Knowledge of carpentry machinery, tools, and materials, with a focus on maintenance, safe operation, and efficient production workflows.
- Commitment to quality control, with the ability to inspect work, identify defects, and implement corrective actions to meet high-end project requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with site teams, engineers, and designers.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in workshop and construction environments, and experience enforcing safety procedures.
