Role Description
The Capacity Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for monitoring and optimizing capacity across projects, departments, and services.
The role involves analyzing demand and resource utilization, preparing capacity forecasts, and recommending adjustments to ensure operational efficiency and service continuity.
The Capacity Manager collaborates with operations and project teams to align capacity plans with strategic priorities, supports the development of policies and procedures, and prepares regular reports and dashboards for leadership.
The position also includes identifying risks related to capacity constraints, proposing mitigation measures, and contributing to continuous improvement of capacity management practices.
Qualifications
- Strong capacity planning and capacity management skills to forecast demand and optimize resource utilization.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Operations management experience to coordinate processes, ensure service levels, and improve efficiency.
- Project management skills to support planning, coordination, and delivery of capacity-related initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
- Experience working in government, public sector, or large complex organizations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and productivity software (e.g., Excel, reporting dashboards, project management tools).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively on-site in Dubai.
