Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and creative **Canapés Chef** to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in preparing high-quality canapés, finger foods, and cold kitchen items, with attention to presentation and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of **canapés, hors d'oeuvres, and finger foods**
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workstation
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist in menu planning and development of new canapé items
- Manage stock and ensure proper storage (FIFO)
- Work efficiently during high-volume production and events
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a **Canapés Chef or Cold Kitchen Chef**
- Experience in hotels, catering, or high-standard kitchens preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Creative with good plating and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude
