(CAN) Manager, Product Development (IC) Contract

Position summary

Key responsibilities

• Recommend product activation, commercial, and growth plans that support trial, conversion, and customer loyalty.
• Build annual operating plans and manage financial levers to grow the private brand business.
• Manage product lifecycle and SKU productivity in stores and online, including end-of-life recommendations.
• Adapt product specifications with supplier technical teams and Walmart stakeholders to reflect business, regulatory, and customer needs.
• Visit supplier sites to validate performance and quality, support commercialization, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Represent the business at industry events, identify trends and partners, and build supplier relationships.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, collaborate with business partners, and support continuous improvement.

Preferred qualifications

• Food science education or degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of product development and management experience is preferred.
• Retail or CPG experience and financial acumen are preferred.
