Job Purpose
The Camp Attendance Coordinator minimizes employee absenteeism and maximizes daily workforce turnout across Tabasco camps.
The role is a proactive field position involving camp visits, attendance monitoring, transport coordination, and medical-care facilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily rotational physical rounds across assigned camps to audit attendance records and verify headcount against deployment rosters.
- Investigate absenteeism immediately and identify unauthorized, unexcused, or unnecessary leave.
- Counsel and motivate employees to return to duty.
- Arrange, coordinate, or personally drive alternate vehicles to transport recovered employees to jobsites.
- Identify genuinely unwell employees and arrange clinic or medical-facility care and official documentation.
- Maintain daily logs of absences, reasons, actions taken, and employees returned to work.
- Provide daily updates to management.
- Act as liaison between camp residents, site supervisors, and HR on workforce availability.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in camp operations, site logistics, field HR, or workforce coordination.
- Construction, facilities management, or oil and gas sector experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and persuasive skills are required.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with firmness, empathy, and respect.
- Excellent problem-solving and quick logistics-management skills are required.
Languages
- Hindi is required.
- English is stated as required in the qualifications section and preferred in the language section.
- Urdu or Arabic fluency is highly advantageous for communicating with the camp workforce.
Workplace and Travel
- Work location is in person.
- Willingness to travel 25% is preferred.
