REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in a related occupation. 5 years of experience with the following: Structural engineering materials, large-scale non-linear problems, optimization, topology, reliability, robust design, and process automation; Model creation and Finite Element Analysis (FEA); Structural analysis of propulsion components and systems; Composite Structuredurability analysis; ABAQUS includingImplicit, Explicit and ABAQUS CAE;Optistruct, Hypermesh, and iSIGHT; Fesafe,FEMFAT, Mold Flow, and DIGIMAT;Non-linear analysis, failure theoriesand multi-axial fatigue and composites;Principles of vehicle propulsion systemdesign, operation, and testing; andProgramming in Java, Python, andMATLAB.
