Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Wood Cutting Machine Operator located in Jeddah.
The CNC Wood Cutting Machine Operator will set up, program, and operate CNC wood cutting machines to produce furniture components and custom wood pieces according to technical drawings and specifications.
Daily tasks include reading and interpreting design plans, selecting and loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and monitoring operations to ensure accuracy and quality.
The operator will inspect finished parts, perform basic machine maintenance, and follow safety and housekeeping standards in the workshop.
Collaboration with supervisors, designers, and other production team members is expected to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating CNC wood cutting machines, including setup, calibration, and safe operation.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, measurements, and production specifications.
- Knowledge of wood materials, cutting tools, and appropriate feed speeds for different types of wood.
- Attention to detail and quality control skills to inspect and verify dimensions and finishes of cut parts.
- Basic mechanical and maintenance skills to perform routine checks and minor adjustments on machines.
- Commitment to workplace safety, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to workshop procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors and production colleagues.
- Previous experience in wood or furniture manufacturing, or in a similar CNC operator role, is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and work full-time on-site in Jeddah.
