Internship overview

AI and knowledge support

• Contribute to AI-powered Copilot agents and connect AI and search to SharePoint, Azure DevOps, support procedures, repositories, and knowledge articles.
• Improve self-service access to known solutions, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and resolved support issues.
• Analyze feedback and support knowledge-management practices to improve AI responses over time.

Automation and applications

• Develop and optimize Power Automate workflows and automate processes between SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot workflows and create automated approvals, notifications, escalations, and status tracking.
• Develop and enhance SharePoint business applications and service request portals, including forms, dashboards, interfaces, and usability improvements.
• Maintain SharePoint and Azure DevOps integrations for requests, tickets, statuses, approvals, and workflow activities.

Reporting and continuous improvement

• Build Power BI dashboards and reports covering support workload, ticket aging, request volume, service performance, open requests, and AI or automation impact.
• Maintain centralized repositories of support knowledge and best practices, identify improvement opportunities, and document solutions and operating procedures.

Candidate qualifications

• The position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree.
• Basic programming knowledge and strong interest in software development, automation, AI, analytics, or enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to learn quickly, and ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.
• English proficiency is required; French is a strong asset, especially for local stakeholder interactions in Montréal.
• Must meet security clearance and system-access authorization requirements throughout the internship.
• Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, Copilot Studio, analytics, AI, or related project experience is an asset.
• A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, as is completion of one to two years of undergraduate study.
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and meet Controlled Goods Program requirements.

Location and work mode

• The internship is in Montréal and is hybrid, with at least two days per week in the workplace.

Position type and dates

• The position type is COOP-Student (Fixed Term).
• Internship dates are January 4 to April 23, 2027.

• Salary is determined by years of study and/or cumulative credits; no pay cadence is stated.
