To develop students' interest, abilities, talents and skills for expression and creativity, as well as understanding and appreciation, by implementing an engaging curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; developing lesson plans; modeling the necessary skills to perform assigned tasks; providing a safe, responsible, and respectful learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

• Minimum of a bachelor level degree in education discipline related to teaching assignment?required
• A PDE certification required; Special Education Pk-12 certification preferred
• 3-5 years experience working with Special Education Students preferred
• Current police, child abuse & FBI fingerprint clearances
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)?????

• Instruct individuals in skill areas
• Plan curriculum, lessons, and special education programs and teaching methods
• Evaluate and monitor student progress based on classroom performance, test scores, and observation of behavior
• Support objectives and interventions of the educational program
• Maintain safe physical environment of the classroom
• Maintain contact with parents of students and/or professionals concerning student progress

2026 - 2027? school year salary (based on experience):?

• ?$62,155 to $89,730 - Instructional?I Certification
• $64,834 to $93,324 - Instructional?II Certification
• $69,353 to $101,911 - Master's Degree
• $74,415 to $107,845?- Masters + 30

Monday- Friday 7.5 hours/day 194 days/year?
