  • Lead operational RFQs and market evaluations within delegated authority, partnering with Sourcing on strategic decisions and major negotiations.

Team and process leadership

  • Coordinate purchasing priorities and provide operational coverage during demand spikes, disruptions, or Purchasing Manager absence.
  • Mentor team members, support onboarding, and reinforce consistent purchasing practices.
  • Translate sourcing strategies and agreements into transitions, implementation plans, ERP parameters, and supplier performance management.
  • Lead process improvements, ERP/MRP and reporting enhancements, and standardization initiatives.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on supplier risk, inventory, cost, delivery, and purchasing performance.

  • Advanced ERP/MRP experience with Infor CSI/Syteline, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems, plus Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience independently managing complex, high-spend, sole-source, or operationally critical suppliers and handling escalations and recovery is preferred.
  • Experience leading supplier reviews, corrective actions, transitions, engineering changes, product transitions, recovery, inventory optimization, or continuous improvement is preferred.
  • Team lead, department coordinator, mentoring, or operational backup experience supporting purchasing leadership is preferred.

Compensation

  • Annual salary range is $84,000 to $115,000.
