Project context

The project supports financial operations, regulatory reporting, integrations, and insurance/reinsurance systems.

Current initiatives include Oracle ERP implementation and migration projects and other strategic programs.

Day-to-day activities

  • Gather business, functional, and technical requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Create user stories, process flows, data mappings, and runbooks.
  • Perform systems, impact, and gap analysis; investigate root causes.
  • Analyze integrations, data flows, transformation logic, and monitoring requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Support SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and post-production activities.
  • Ensure traceability, governance, auditability, and compliance; participate in Agile delivery.
  • Collaborate on Oracle ERP/Fusion integrations and enterprise data initiatives.

Required qualifications

  • Strong technical BSA background with a development background, rather than a business-side BA profile.
  • Ability to understand databases and strong SQL skills, including reading existing code and queries.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort working in Agile environments.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice-to-have skills

  • Oracle Fusion/Oracle ERP experience; financial services, insurance, or reinsurance experience.
  • Enterprise integration and data migration projects; ETL and data transformation experience.
  • Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or AI-assisted SDLC tools such as Copilot or Devin.

Compensation

  • Target salary range is CAD 100,000–115,000 per year or CAD 85 per hour.
