Position overview
Business Systems Analyst I supports operational representatives in improving systems and processes through technology.
The role supports ERP platforms, defines requirements, evaluates platforms, and develops roadmaps for implementing solutions.
This is an exempt position reporting to the Manager of Business Systems and performing routine duties within established policies.
Key duties
- Manage departmental applications, including JD Edwards and Medgate, and analyze business processes and workflows.
- Coordinate third-party data transfers and act as the primary contact with IT.
- Troubleshoot application issues; install software and provide user assistance, training, and support.
- Gather requirements, facilitate software installations, and manage technical projects.
- Create and execute test plans, document supported applications, and coordinate interfaces with IT business analysts.
- Work with application users, management, and teammates on processes and projects and apply feedback accurately.
Essential qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or business.
- Knowledge of business systems, Google Workspace, and file transfer applications and protocols.
- Complete the post-offer drug and alcohol screening and physical evaluation, and sign acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
- Comply with company and client job-site safety requirements and not pose a direct threat to workplace health or safety.

Physical involvement
