The Role
The successful candidate will teach Business Strategy and related management courses during Summer II 2026, starting 13 July 2026.
The role requires an engaging and applied approach to teaching, with the ability to connect strategic management theory to contemporary business practice, international markets, innovation, entrepreneurship, and organisational performance.
The appointed candidate will be expected to support course delivery, assessment, student feedback, and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the School of Management.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Teach part-time courses in Business Strategy and related management areas.
Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, case discussions, and applied learning activities.
Develop and use appropriate teaching materials, assessments, and learning resources.
Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Support student learning through consultation, guidance, and academic support.
Ensure that course delivery aligns with approved syllabi, learning outcomes, and university standards.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
Contribute to a collegial, inclusive, and professionally engaged teaching environment.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
A PhD from an accredited university in Strategic Management, International Business, Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Experience
teaching Business Strategy or related management courses in higher education.
Evidence of effective teaching and student engagement.
Ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Business Strategy.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Commitment to student-centred teaching and academic standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
Previous teaching experience in a UAE or international higher education institution.
Experience
teaching at graduate level, including MBA or executive education.
Relevant industry, consulting, or executive experience in strategy, international business, management, entrepreneurship, or organisational development.
Experience
with case-based teaching, business simulations, applied projects, or experiential learning.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness, such as student evaluations or peer feedback.
Ability to teach across more than one management area.
