Business Solution & Application (BS&A) Architect (Remote)
Role Overview
The Business Solution & Application (BS&A) Architect will define and drive enterprise application architecture strategy, ensuring the organization’s technology solutions align with corporate strategy, enhance operational efficiencies, and support long-term healthcare business goals.
As a senior technical leader, you will shape enterprise-wide design principles, provide architectural thought leadership across critical software portfolios, and establish solution design governance centered around a Minimum Viable Architecture (MVA) framework.
This role will be heavily focused on EMR and clinical systems, partnering closely with executive and clinical leadership to influence strategic investments, guide complex buy-build-customize analyses, and mentor senior architects across the healthcare enterprise.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or the equivalent required
- Master's Degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or the equivalent preferred
- More than 10 years of experience in IT architecture, systems design, or related engineering disciplines required
- 15+ years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity preferred
- 7+ years of experience in application architecture in a clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Deep expertise across multiple architecture domains, including enterprise, cloud, infrastructure, application, and network architecture.
- Ability to design and communicate enterprise-scale architecture solutions with measurable business impact.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence strategic technology and investment decisions.
- Experience leading digital transformation and large-scale technology modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated thought leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Licenses and Certifications
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or comparable credentials preferred

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or the equivalent preferred
