Opportunity
Experienced Business Relationship Manager, Finance & Accounting, supporting a global manufacturing organization.
Connects Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT to ensure financial systems support business operations, reporting, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide D365 F&O functional support; investigate ERP issues and collaborate on system improvements.
- Support manufacturing accounting, inventory valuation and reconciliation, costing, freight accruals, and financial reporting.
- Gather requirements, document workflows, recommend improvements, and coordinate ERP enhancements, integrations, configuration, and testing.
- Support month-end close, reporting, analytics, controls, change management, user adoption, documentation, and training.
- Work with international teams on system standardization and align financial processes with audit requirements and accounting standards.
Required qualifications
- Approximately 10+ years of relevant Finance, Accounting, ERP, Finance Systems, or Business Analysis experience.
- Strong finance and accounting knowledge, including general ledger, reconciliations, cost accounting, reporting, and controls.
- Manufacturing finance experience and knowledge of inventory accounting, valuation, and costing.
- Hands-on D365 F&O functional support experience, including troubleshooting, enhancements, or configuration.
- Experience with Finance stakeholders and IT teams, business requirements, and ERP implementations or optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent English communication skills and comfort working with international stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications
- Preferred: weighted-average and standard costing; inventory reconciliation; freight accruals and transportation costing.
- Preferred: food manufacturing, Power BI, dashboards, reporting automation, or business intelligence.
- Preferred: multinational organizations, IFRS, GAAP, SOX, internal controls, audits, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP platforms.
- Preferred: finance transformation, process standardization, and change management.
Work arrangement
- Hybrid role based in Calgary, Alberta, with three days onsite per week.
- Onsite days are coordinated with stakeholders; occasional early or late meetings may accommodate international teams.
Compensation
- Anticipated base salary is CAD 120,000–130,000 annually, with some flexibility for exceptionally qualified candidates.
