About the Role

Skypoint is seeking a motivated Business QA Intern to support quality assurance across its enterprise product suite.

The role focuses on validating real-world workflows, testing end-to-end user journeys, and ensuring a high-quality product experience.

This is a hands-on, in-office internship for fresh graduates, with opportunities to contribute to small enhancements and fixes.

Business and Functional QA

  • Perform business-focused testing of product workflows, user journeys, and functional requirements.
  • Validate business rules, real-world use cases, and customer-facing modules across integrated applications.
  • Identify functional gaps, edge cases, and inconsistencies in product behavior.
  • Execute smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing before releases.
  • Document defects with reproduction steps, expected outcomes, and business impact.
  • Maintain QA checklists and regression coverage for release readiness.
  • Build and enhance regression suites using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
  • Assist with integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.

Enhancements and Fix Ownership

  • Own minor product improvements, configuration updates, or small fixes.
  • Work with senior engineers to implement and validate enhancements.
  • Ensure changes align with business requirements and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Graduation during 2024–2026.
  • Strong analytical reasoning, structured thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of manual and functional testing concepts.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile development practices.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Ability to test from a business and end-user perspective, not only through UI validation.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
  • Basic knowledge of API testing with Postman and backend workflows.
  • Prior internship or project experience in QA, automation, or product testing.
  • Interest in healthcare, senior living, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
