Job Brief
Wahed is seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to lead the operational build-out of its values-based wealth management platform in the UAE.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role focused on delivering features, integrations, improvements, processes, controls, and a scalable operating model.
The role works with Investments and Operations teams and has broad exposure to strategy and business execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee UAE day-to-day operations, performance, financial metrics, and operational data.
- Coordinate KYC, onboarding, deposits, withdrawals, trading, portfolio management, reconciliations, and customer support.
- Work with Product, Technology, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and other teams on local delivery and improvement.
- Identify and resolve operational or product issues, coordinate projects, and maintain ownership, timelines, and follow-up.
- Identify, onboard, negotiate with, and manage vendors and commercial partners.
- Support management, governance, regulatory, financial, and operational reporting.
- Monitor customer feedback and data to improve customer experience and business performance.
- Support local business development and represent Wahed with vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, or a related field.
- Approximately 4–7 years of relevant experience in business operations, financial services, fintech, investments, consulting, or a similar environment.
- Experience managing cross-functional operational or commercial projects and external vendors or partners.
- Strong understanding of financials, budgets, P&L performance, data analysis, project management, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of the UAE financial services or fintech market is strongly preferred.
- Digital investment products, KYC, trading, investment operations, and Shariah-compliant investing knowledge are advantageous or expected to be developed.
