Role Description

The Owner role at SONDA in Goiás, Brazil is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing the local business strategy, operations, and performance.

The Owner leads the development and execution of business plans, drives revenue growth, and ensures alignment with SONDA’s regional digital transformation goals.

Day-to-day tasks include managing key client relationships, supervising teams, monitoring financial results, and guiding the implementation of technology solutions and services.

The role involves making data-informed decisions, managing budgets and investments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

The Owner collaborates closely with regional leadership, represents the company in strategic partnerships, and fosters a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in business ownership, general management, or senior leadership within technology, consulting, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, business development, and financial management to drive sustainable growth.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, with capabilities in people management, performance oversight, and organizational development.
  • Proficiency in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation for high-impact projects.
  • Understanding of digital transformation, IT services, and innovation-driven business models, preferably in the Latin American market.
  • Ability to operate on-site, maintain a visible leadership presence in Goiás, Brazil, and collaborate effectively with regional and international teams.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an asset.
  • Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in Spanish and/or English is highly beneficial.
