Role responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely analysis, reports and dashboards supporting underwriting decisions across portfolio performance, profitability, risk and customer outcomes.
• Monitor KPIs and profit drivers, investigate changes, and identify trends, risks, opportunities and actionable insights.
• Develop and improve Power BI dashboards and recurring reporting, rationalizing and automating outputs where appropriate.
• Write clear, documented and reproducible SQL and analytical code; validate work and reconcile data sources.
• Define analytical requirements with stakeholders and present complex findings using clear visualization and storytelling.
• Use AI and automation responsibly with suitable review and validation, and improve data quality, reporting and team standards.
• Own deliverables and collaborate with analysts, data engineers, BI specialists and business stakeholders.

Essential skills and experience

• Experience delivering analysis, management information, reporting or BI outputs; experience writing SQL and working with structured data.
• Experience with a BI or data-visualization tool; Power BI is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of business KPIs and commercial or customer outcomes.
• Ability to plan analysis, validate outputs and deliver reliably; communicate findings to non-technical audiences and use good judgment about collaboration and escalation.
• Interest in responsible AI use is expected; practical experience is beneficial but not essential.
