Data platform and analytics

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across MES, ERP, and WMS.
  • Develop production-grade data models for traceability, OEE, and core manufacturing KPIs.
  • Establish data governance, data-quality rules, and automated validation checks.
  • Integrate factory systems, IoT devices, and sensor data.
  • Own the data warehouse, including schema design, storage optimization, access control, and platform health.
  • Maintain data dictionaries, pipeline documentation, and data lineage.
  • Manage data security and access controls across systems, pipelines, and reporting layers.
  • Monitor pipeline health, lead incident response for disrupted flows, and document root causes.
  • Automate recurring reporting and data workflows; enable predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and anomaly detection.
  • Partner with IT on reliable equipment-to-cloud data flow and explore AI/ML for forecasting, quality prediction, and process optimization.
  • Build operational dashboards and executive reports using Power BI, Tableau, or other tools.

Business partnership

  • Connect pipeline outputs and dashboard metrics to business decisions and translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to operations meetings and finance reviews; understand manufacturing economics, cost of poor quality, inventory, working capital, supply-chain tradeoffs, and factory impact on P&L.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years in BI, data analysis, or data engineering roles; strong SQL skills.
  • Experience building dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools; understanding of ETL/ELT and data modeling.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment where systems and processes are being built from scratch.
  • Manufacturing data, production, or OT experience is a strong plus; familiarity with MES, ERP, WMS, or EPS systems.
  • Scripting experience is requested, with Python preferred; SAP experience with ECC, S/4HANA, or manufacturing modules.
  • Exposure to IoT, PLC data, or industrial data sources.

Benefits

  • Benefits include 401(k), health and life insurance, paid holidays, and parental leave.
