About the Role
Westpac is hiring a Business Generalist Banker for their Virtual Business Servicing team in Parramatta. You will respond to inbound calls from business banking customers, helping with general questions, account resets, and technical enquiries.

- Respond to inbound calls and provide outstanding service to business banking customers over the phone
- Help businesses with general questions, account resets, technical enquiries
- Identify business needs to help customers receive even greater service
Requirements
- At least 12 months customer service experience (any industry)
- A genuine interest in banking or financial services
- Ability to learn and work with multiple computer systems
- Able to complete 9 weeks full time training (9am to 5pm), commencing in mid August 2026
- Once trained, able to work a rotating roster between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday

Job Description

- To ensure our customers are able to connect with us over the phone, our business banking team are available between 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday.
- Working in an inbound call centre, your job is to respond to inbound calls and provide outstanding service to our business banking customers over the phone, each and every call.
- On any day, you can be helping businesses with their general questions, account resets, technical enquiries as well as identifying business needs to help our customers provide even greater service.
What do I need?
- At least 12 months customer service experience (any industry)
- A genuine interest in banking or financial services
- Ability to learn and work with multiple computer systems
- Able to complete 9 weeks full time training (9am to 5pm), commencing in mid August 2026
- Once you’re out of training, and on the phone with our customers, moving to a rotating roster between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday
