Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Business Development Specialist.

The Business Development Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, manage lead generation activities, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Typical tasks include conducting market research, reaching out to prospective clients, scheduling and participating in discovery calls, and preparing proposals or presentations in collaboration with internal teams.

The role also involves tracking and reporting on key business development metrics, maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools, and supporting account handoffs to customer service or account management teams.

The ideal candidate will work independently, coordinate with global stakeholders as needed, and contribute ideas to improve outreach strategies and conversion rates.

Qualifications

  • Strong lead generation and prospecting skills, including identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential clients.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships remotely.
  • Solid analytical skills and market research abilities to assess opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Comfort using digital tools and CRM or tracking systems to manage pipelines and report progress.
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, or related roles, ideally in a global or remote environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a part-time remote setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders across different regions and time zones.
