Business Development Representative

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities, conduct prospect research, and engage decision-makers through cold and warm outreach.
• Explain and demonstrate Intelex's solution value; build knowledge of its software and new functionality.
• Meet monthly or quarterly sales-accepted opportunity quotas and maintain leads in Salesforce and other sales tools.
• Share market trends and industry challenges with sales and marketing and collaborate with Account Executives and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience and one year in a customer-facing role.
• Experience prospecting for opportunities; basic knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with varied internal and external audiences.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in sales and revenue generation is preferred.
• EHSQ practices, technology sales, and Salesforce or other CRM experience are considered assets.

Pay Range

• Published sales-position range is 69,500–97,900 in local currency, inclusive of sales incentives and commissions; no pay cadence is stated.
