Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Representative role based in Petaling Jaya, with flexibility to work from home part of the week.
The Business Development Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities for global B2B tech clients entering or expanding within Asia and MENA.
Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target accounts, prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and messaging platforms, and scheduling qualified meetings for client sales teams.
The role involves managing and nurturing a pipeline of leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM, and following structured outreach cadences aligned with account-based strategies.
The Business Development Representative will collaborate with marketing teams to refine messaging, share market feedback, and continuously improve conversion rates.
Qualifications
- Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing potential clients.
- Demonstrated Sales and Business Development experience in B2B environments, ideally in technology or SaaS.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers across cultures.
- Comfort using CRM and sales engagement tools, as well as LinkedIn and messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber).
- Proven ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline targets in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Strong research, organization, and time management capabilities, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up.
- Experience in or familiarity with Asia and/or MENA markets is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
