Role Description

The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Riyadh, with flexibility for partial work from home.

This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new partnership and revenue opportunities, including startups, enterprises, and ecosystem partners aligned with AI-powered product development.

The ideal candidate uses AI tools fluently in their daily work.

Day-to-day tasks include building and managing a pipeline of prospects, conducting market and competitor research, preparing proposals and presentations, and supporting the negotiation of mutually beneficial agreements.

The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to design offerings, events, and initiatives that attract partners.

The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, tracking performance metrics, and providing regular reports and insights to drive strategic growth.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily work - such as preparing proposals, research, content, or analysis - and a genuine enthusiasm for AI-powered product development.
  • Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and partnership management, with a track record of building and closing growth-focused opportunities.
  • Experience in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning to identify trends and inform go-to-market approaches.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels and from varied backgrounds.
  • Understanding of technology, startups, or developer communities, ideally with familiarity with vibe coding, AI builders, or digital product development.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial for engaging local partners and community members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in the Saudi or GCC tech ecosystem, including networks with startups, corporates, or innovation hubs, is a strong advantage.
