The Role
We're looking for a driven New Business Development Manager to identify, secure and grow new customer opportunities for Orora Cans. Combining new business acquisition with the development of a portfolio of emerging customer accounts, you'll build strong customer partnerships, collaborate closely with internal teams and play a key role in driving sustainable growth for our Cans business unit.
This is a highly customer-facing role with regular travel and a strong field-based presence required.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities across the beverage sector
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers to support sustainable growth
- Develop strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders to create long-term partnerships
- Manage and grow a portfolio of emerging accounts, identifying opportunities to increase value and volume
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer onboarding, implementation and ongoing service delivery
- Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness and customer outcomes
About You
Proven experience in business development or sales
A track record of winning new business and delivering revenue growth
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and create customer-focused solutions
A proactive, self-driven approach, with the resilience to manage a pipeline and achieve results in a field-based role
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience in FMCG, beverage, packaging, or a related industry will be highly regarded
