Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and expanding Sungava’s presence in key sectors such as hospitality, cleaning services, construction, warehousing, and facility support.
Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and meeting potential clients, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of manpower and technical services.
The role also involves conducting market research, tracking industry trends, and providing input on service offerings and pricing strategies to support growth targets.
The Business Development Manager will regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and account management.
- Experience in the manpower supply, staffing, or technical services industry, ideally within sectors such as hospitality, cleaning, construction, warehousing, or facility support.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze market trends, develop growth strategies, and work with cross-functional teams to implement service solutions.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deliver on targets.
- Proficiency in basic office and CRM software for managing client information, proposals, and sales reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in the UAE market and understanding of local regulations and business practices is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional languages commonly used in the UAE are beneficial.
