Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities in FMCG and medical markets across the GCC, including prospecting, lead qualification, and building a strong sales pipeline.

The role involves managing and expanding relationships with distributors and key accounts, negotiating commercial terms, and supporting contract execution.

The person in this role will collaborate with internal teams on pricing, product positioning, and go-to-market plans, and will regularly analyze market trends, competition, and performance data to inform strategy.

Responsibilities

also include preparing sales forecasts and reports, representing Prism at client meetings and industry events, and ensuring that growth targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, key account management, ideally within FMCG and/or medical products.
  • Strong skills in market research, opportunity analysis, and pipeline management to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other strategic stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.
  • Experience in GCC markets and familiarity with regional business practices and regulations is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business
  • High level of organization, ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives, and comfort working toward ambitious revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; strong skills in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and business proposals.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages commonly used in the GCC are a plus.
  • Strong financial Skills
